Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services in construction. We are currently seeking a Digital Manager for a project in the United States.

• Estimated Duration : 72 months. Upon project completion, we aim to assign the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.
• Schedule : 9 hours daily (including 1 hour for lunch).

Position Description

We are looking for a Digital Manager with extensive experience in railway infrastructure design to lead digital delivery and coordination for a high-speed rail project in Sacramento, CA. The role involves managing a team of 15–20 professionals, ensuring compliance with BIM and digital engineering standards, and fostering collaboration across disciplines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the digital design coordination process across all design disciplines involved in the project.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with BIM and digital engineering standards.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of 3D models and digital deliverables using Revit and other advanced design tools.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, including designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors, to maintain design intent.
• Manage team workflows, deadlines, and quality assurance for all digital design outputs.
• Support the integration of digital tools into project planning and execution.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making in digital engineering methodologies and standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital design management within engineering and design consultancy environments.
• Proven experience in railway infrastructure design, preferably in high-speed rail projects.
• Expert-level knowledge of Revit and other advanced design tools; knowledge of MicroStation is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading teams of 15–20 people.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Vacation : 22 days.
