Senior Devops Engineer - (Remote - Europe)

One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Europe.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines and production services. You will work closely with software engineers, other DevOps professionals, and cross-functional teams to ensure that systems are automated, reliable, and scalable. Your contributions will drive the overall performance and efficiency of the platform, ensuring high availability and seamless integration for development and production environments. In this role, you will also mentor junior team members and refine DevOps practices, helping to shape the future of infrastructure management.

Accountabilities :

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters and other cloud resources, for development and production environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI / CD pipelines to support the development process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service interruptions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for production services outside of normal business hours.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
• Document DevOps processes and continuously improve operational workflows and efficiencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a production environment, with a strong focus on high availability and redundancy.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and network fundamentals.
• Proven experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or GCP preferred) including compute, network, storage, and databases.
• Expertise in containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Strong proficiency with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK / OpenSearch.
• Experience with CI / CD pipeline development, particularly with GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
• Strong shell scripting skills and familiarity with a high-level language like Python or Go.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
