Java Developer | AWS | 100% Remote

We are seeking a Java Developer to contribute to a project with one of our global clients, a leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. A high level of English proficiency is required.

Location: 100% remote for candidates based in Spain

Role Requirements:

• English: C1 level
• Java programming skills and experience building APIs (>4 years)
• Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID)
• Experience with various testing types: Unit, API, Acceptance, Load Testing
• Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or Microservices Architecture (MSA)
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Experience with REST APIs
• Relevant experience with services, Gradle or Maven, and Enterprise Jenkins

Desired Skills:

• Experience in highly regulated environments like banking
• AWS certification and experience with Docker
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate)
• Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software
• Own the software you develop, ensuring stability and smooth operation
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews
• Align with Product Management goals and innovate within your domain
