We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Area Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a Sales Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to become a key player in our team. You will use your interpersonal and analytical skills to build and maintain long-term relationships, identify strategic approaches, conduct comprehensive market analysis, and generate leads to drive business objectives and enhance the growth of Flix on both global and local fronts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market strategies in collaboration with the international sales and marketing teams, focusing on offline distribution channels (e.g., travel agencies, tourist offices, selling points, and alternative points of sales).
- Oversee and manage revenue streams and channel efficiency, proactively identifying and suggesting solutions to optimize channel performance in your designated regions.
- Lead the acquisition and development of reseller partners, providing effective communication and support to meet their day-to-day business needs.
- Drive the closing of commercial contracts and the execution of marketing campaigns to enhance the Flix portfolio in the Portuguese market.
- Manage CRM to ensure data accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with your team leader and head of sales to develop global strategies.
- Manage local contracts, report market costs, and execute budgeting processes.
- Provide regular performance reviews and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support and collaborate with your team and other departments to ensure overall business success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish, and fluency in English.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial roles focusing on partner management, budgeting, and cost reporting within market activities.
- Strong social, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability in project management is a plus.
