Research area or group :

Advanced Electron Nanoscopy

Description of Group / Project :

The focus of this position will be on AI-enhanced automation of transmission electron microscopy imaging and spectra acquisition, developing AI protocols based on ML, DL, and computer vision within the project EDISON.

Main Tasks and responsibilities :

Develop AI-enhanced automation of transmission electron microscopy imaging and spectra acquisition, developing AI protocols based on ML, DL, and computer vision within the project EDISON.

Requirements :

  • Education : Computer Engineering, Gaming Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge and Professional Experience : AI programming based on Python, Auto Script, Machine and Deep learning, and computer vision. Experience working in a group dedicated to materials science and nanotechnology applying similar tools.
  • Personal competences : Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and communication skills.

Summary of conditions :

  • Full-time work (37.5h/week)
  • Contract Length: Temporary (4 months)
  • Salary will depend on qualifications and demonstrated experience.
