Virtual Twin Engineer Trainee

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Objective of the internship: In this role, you will have the opportunity to create the design of equipment, systems, or installations, or modify pre-engineered designs for assignments by applying standard design concepts. You will assist in designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specifications, participate in design reviews, and modify designs as necessary.

Tasks to be Performed

  • Supporting the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet contractual obligations, adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
  • Ensuring that the Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations.
  • Assisting in technical risk assessments and implementing resulting actions in projects.
  • Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Education: Students pursuing a degree or master's in Industrial Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Languages: High proficiency in English.
  • Additional Knowledge: Office package, industrial PLC programming (e.g., Siemens), some robot programming, and understanding of creating digital twins of on-site installations.
