The Engineering Project Leader plays an important role in advancing the organization’s strategic initiatives, focused on achieving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and competitive advantage.

This role is dedicated to support in high-impact projects that optimize transport and cross-docking flows, drive innovation, and implement reengineering solutions that elevate overall supply chain performance. With a strong emphasis on economic analysis and total delivery cost optimization, this position is key in designing and executing transformative strategies that address complex logistics challenges. The Engineering Project Leader works collaboratively across departments to align projects with broader organizational objectives, ensuring sustainable improvements and measurable impact on efficiency and cost reduction.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Project Development & Management: Optimise supply chain operations and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Align cost analyses and monitor project progress.
  • Economic Analysis: Conduct economic studies and refine tools for better financial oversight. Use insights to recommend optimisations.
  • Flow Optimisation: Identify and address inefficiencies in transportation and cross-docking. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Innovation: Seek and recommend new technologies and best practices.
  • Data Analysis: Use data analytics to optimise processes and measure improvements.
  • Change Management: Communicate and train stakeholders on new processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adjust changes based on feedback.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate operational risks.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of previous experience as a supply chain responsible, project management, supply chain engineering, or in a similar field.
  • Costs breakdown analysis knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, especially in transport & XDock operations.
  • High level of English and Spanish, other European language is valuable. Test Certificate appreciated.
  • Knowledge in relevant software tools and technologies, such as data analytics software, project management software, and simulation tools
