ATLANTIS ANIMATION is an animation studio based in the Canary Islands, specifically Tenerife. We combine creative talent and technology to produce high-quality animated series and feature films. Our notable productions include Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, broadcasted on Disney Channel and Disney+.

We are preparing for a new project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids, and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. This series tells the story of Leo, a young boy from Argentina transported to a fantastical universe.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Editor to lead our post-production team. You will oversee editing for all animation projects, ensuring clarity, pacing, and visual continuity, collaborating with directors, producers, animators, and sound designers.

Profile required

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the editorial team through all production phases.
• Supervise editing of animatics, rough cuts, and final cuts of 3D animated content.
• Work with directors to maintain and enhance creative vision.
• Coordinate with production management to meet deadlines and scope.
• Ensure consistency in tone, rhythm, and storytelling.
• Integrate sound, music, and VFX to support narrative flow.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Chief or Senior Editor in animation.
• Strong storytelling and pacing instincts.
• Expertise in editing software (Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Storyboard Pro).
• Understanding of 3D animation pipeline and editorial needs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Tenerife.
• EU citizenship or valid Spanish work permit.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
