About your role
We invite applications for 6 month research assistant position. You will be based between the UIC Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona Institute of Neurosciences where experimental work will be carried out ( ).
The research assistant will support a project using state-of-the-art in vivo brain imaging (multi-photon microscopy / calcium imaging), optogenetic and computational approaches to measure, perturb and analyse neural circuits in awake behaving mice. Experience would be particularly valued in :

Selection process
The UIC Barcelona selection process, following that which is outlined in the European OTM-R, will be carried out in two phases : a first pre-selection phase and a second interview phase.
A committee will be tasked with carrying out both phases, both the initial evaluation and the subsequent interview. This committee will be made up of one external expert and two experts from UIC Barcelona.
