Potential to grow into Head of Ops / COO at scale.

We're looking for someone early in their career, with 3-5 years of experience in startups and tech doing ops / product management, proficient in math and analytics, and possessing solid soft skills. Fluent English is a must.

To reiterate : you must have either startup or management / strategy consulting experience, with engineering / math education being a strong plus.

What you'll do :

  • Own and improve ops part of the unit economics.
  • Define key performance improvement initiatives together with the leadership team.
  • Lead and support projects to reduce cost per student.
  • Oversee the quality and KPIs of key operational processes (recruiting, staffing, quality assurance, etc.) together with functional leaders.
  • Lead and support strategic operational projects.

In general, you will either lead ops-heavy projects or support the leadership team in managing them across different functions, with a focus on school ops and family care (customer support).

Examples of strategic projects in 2025 :

  • Launch of a new time zone.
  • Implementation of a new teaching schedule (together with Head of School).
  • Implementation of a systemic and efficient recruiting and staffing model for educators.
  • Launch of online summer camps.
  • Budget tracking & back-office : Streamline our monthly budget tracking with the support of our admin specialist.
  • Basic financial management (tools, communications with accountants), potentially supported by a fractional CFO.
  • Manage our HR, admin specialist.

KPI Targets :

  • Cost reduction.
  • Family care cost per student reduction.
  • Admin costs maintenance.
  • Efficient recruiting and staffing of educators in class (speed, cost).
  • Back-office is working with zero defects.

What you'll bring :

  • 3+ years of experience in a corresponding field such as operations, consulting, analytics, ops-intense product management, especially in ops-heavy fast-growing startups.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Strong analytical (incl. quantitative data analysis) and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and business judgement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management skills — you can work with all key functional partners and the leadership team and build deep, trusted relationships.
