  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that may dent the team’s ability to execute.
  • Provide engineering direction to other members of the team.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years of software engineering work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Master’s degree is preferred), or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and other computer science fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in one or more of Java, C++, C#, Golang, or similar OO languages.
  • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills of the used solution stack.

Nice-to-have Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience in building highly available, high-traffic, distributed services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
  • Good understanding of developing customer-facing microservice-based architectures, including virtualization, containerization, and RESTful APIs.
  • Previous experience in utilizing public cloud services from the current major providers (such as Oracle, Azure, AWS) in developing complex software products.
  • Hands-on experience building and operating internal tools with large data pipelines, including data visualization.
  • Experience in working with other cloud teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (e.g., compute, networking, search, storage).
  • Experience in any scripting language such as Python, Shell, Perl, etc.
  • Prior data science and machine learning experience.

At Oracle, we don’t just respect differences—we celebrate them. We believe that innovation starts with inclusion and to create the future we need people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace where all kinds of people can do their best work. It’s when everyone’s voice is heard and valued that we’re inspired to go beyond what’s been done before.
