Packaging Design Technician II

The role of this partner is to execute all manufacturing and design processes required in the department. These procedures are related to packaging materials, such as labels, inserts, and boxes. The partner is also responsible for preparing all documentation systems, not only for new products but also for those already on the market, when a work order is about to be released. Additionally, they provide technical support to other departments.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in periodic meetings with the documentation control team to ensure all ongoing procedures are ready before deadlines.
• Create and support labeling printing.
• Create and support in the production of IFUs.
• Create and support digital formats (CDs).
• Design new labels, inserts, and boxes.
• Control the materials needed for internal procedures.
• Support the Filling & Packaging area when updating printing parameters required by end users.
• Lead external designers, providing them with all necessary details and information for new layouts or modifications.
• Provide technical support to other departments such as engineering.
• Generate variable data packaging.
• Trigger activities related to new part numbers in SAP.
• Maintain technical data sheets and other documentation in digital formats, such as data-charts in SAP.
• Support vendors in resolving technical doubts.
• Ensure that future manufacturing orders can proceed smoothly.
• Modify Bill of Materials as needed.
• Collect information to summarize project status for the team manager.

Networking

This partner must interact with various company departments (QC, QA, RA, Marketing, Operational Excellence, R&D, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service) to gather all necessary information for packaging material execution.

Education

Valuable: Any additional degree higher than the minimum required.

Degree may be substituted with relevant skills and work experience.

Experience

Experience in topics like printing software such as Codesoft or Bartender is desirable.

Additional Skills

Fluency in Office tools (Excel & Word), basic knowledge in SAP is valuable.

Language: Fluency in Spanish or Catalan; basic knowledge of English (reading and speaking).

Standards: Valuable knowledge of Acrobat and printing software.
