Senior Accountant And Finance Expert

We are creating a Financial & Insurance team in Spain and we are sourcing a Senior Accountant and Finance expert to lead our new project.

Responsibilities

• Spanish S.P.O.C. for Consolidated Financial Statement, KPMG auditors, Tax consultants and in case of a Tax Audit
• Finance S.P.O.C. for the Spanish branch RCTO for budgeting, planning and control purposes
• HR cost controller
• Oversee all local accounting operations for both IFRS and Spanish GAAP purposes : review and approve payment requests
• Maintain the accounting tools of the branch according to the evolving local regulatory scenario, also thanks to regular alignments with peers in Generali Spain
• Verify local accounting processes are compliant with GFRR & DQ principles, collecting the evidence for key controls tested by GHO audit
• Project Manager for finance projects impacting the Spanish branch (e.g. : electronic invoicing)

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• B2 English, spoken and written
• ERP mastery, ideally in SAP and Tagetik
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Coaching & mentoring capability and experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Demonstrates a logical, methodical and systematic approach to work
