Consultant, Commercial Consulting

ALG is a leading global consultancy team with 35 years of professional experience working alongside top players in the transport sectors (operators, infrastructure developers, investors, etc.). Currently, we are looking for a Consultant with a background in Transport and Infrastructure Strategic Consulting to join our team in Barcelona or Madrid.

Specializations include:

• Land transportation (Intermodal, Railways, Highways, Urban transport)
• Logistics (Multimodal - Roads, Rails, Ports, Air cargo - Dry Ports, Special Economic Zones)

As a Consultant, you will be part of one of the top global transport and infrastructure consulting companies, working with leading transport operators, infrastructure developers, and investors. You will advise on strategic, commercial, and operational challenges, participating in various projects, especially focused on different countries in Africa.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning, organizing, and leading tasks and projects to ensure high-quality client deliverables.
2. Interpreting results from multiple project components and translating findings into clear, compelling recommendations and solutions.
3. Applying well-developed consulting skills and in-depth functional knowledge in executing assignments.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree from a top-tier university in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience in strategic consultancy is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• High analytical and numerical skills (Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
