AVL Iberica offers a full-time position in Spain (ES) as a Mechanical Engineer.

This role involves designing mechanical equipment and coordinating manufacturing with suppliers within innovative turnkey projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design systems using mechanical CAD (SolidWorks)
• Analyze specifications
• Perform small structural calculations or simulations
• Coordinate with other departments
• Prepare technical specifications for supplier contracting following quality standards
• Visit customer and supplier facilities
• Monitor projects
• Prepare reports

YOUR PROFILE:

Mandatory:

• Positive attitude, teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and innovative mindset
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks)
• Experience in mechanical design
• Basic knowledge of facilities, fluids, electricity
• Knowledge of engines
• English (minimum B2 level)
• Spanish (minimum B2 level)

Desired:

• Knowledge of mechanical simulations (ANSYS, etc.)
• PDMP SolidWorks knowledge
• SAP knowledge
• Workshop experience
• German language skills
• Basic knowledge of EU security regulations
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
