Senior Software Developer m / f / d PHP

As part of our IT team, you will ensure smooth functionality within one of our departments, playing a crucial role in the overall success of the company. You are an expert in PHP with extensive experience in complex online stores. You are communicative and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You will develop professional web and backend applications, with agile software development, ensuring variety and autonomy in your work. You are passionate about clean software architecture employing domain-driven design, maintaining high code quality, and actively engaging with DevOps topics.
With our diverse departments, we offer a variety of tasks and areas, including developing solutions for print data, automating print data adjustments, optimizing shipping and production processes, implementing product master data projects, enhancing product configurators, creating automated price calculations, and maintaining our growing product catalog. You will have the opportunity to choose your area of focus!
You will develop web and backend applications based on PHP. You will work with DevOps methods (e.g., continuous integration) and tools such as Git, Ansible, Docker (Swarm). You enjoy sharing your knowledge with the team. You will plan requirements and implement them collaboratively. You will ensure compliance with clean software architecture principles, including domain-driven design (DDD).

Your profile:
- A degree in computer science, completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist, or equivalent vocational training.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in e-commerce is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of PHP.
- Proficiency in SOLID principles and design patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search), software architectures (e.g., EDA, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Experience in automating tests with tools such as PHPUnit or Cypress.
- Good understanding of web security best practices and secure coding techniques.
