Descripción del empleo

I’ve partnered with a leading global chemical manufacturing company to recruit a Procurement Buyer. With operations in over 170 countries and a workforce of more than 47,000 professionals, the company is committed to delivering comprehensive solutions that help customers achieve operational efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability. They operate across sectors including food & beverage, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and energy, supporting safe, clean, and resource-responsible operations. Their innovative approach is backed by scientific research, technical expertise, and a dedication to protecting people and resources.

The company is seeking detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Buyers to join their procurement team. In this role, you will source across direct categories, manage relationships with stakeholders such as logistics, factories, R&D, and quality, and lead internal projects. You will collaborate with the category manager to develop category strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong influencing skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to compliance and sustainability in the supply chain. This position focuses on internal procurement processes and cross-departmental coordination, emphasizing internal efficiency rather than external commercial strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Internal Project Management: Support procurement initiatives by coordinating timelines and tasks, working closely with stakeholders to track milestones and align with procurement goals.
  • Supplier Onboarding & Relationship Management: Manage supplier setup processes, ensuring documentation, systems, and compliance requirements are met. Act as a primary contact for supplier communications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise between procurement and departments such as quality assurance, operations, compliance, and logistics to ensure smooth integration of supplier activities.
  • Systems & Tools Oversight: Use SAP and other procurement platforms to manage purchasing, update supplier data, and ensure accuracy.
  • Reporting & Presentation Support: Assist in preparing procurement reports and dashboards; strong PowerPoint skills are beneficial for presenting updates to stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Coordination: Monitor adherence to procurement policies and regulations, collaborating with legal and regulatory teams to meet standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in procurement within a structured, multinational, or industrial environment. Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, tech-savviness with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Personal Attributes: Willingness to learn, detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic thinker.

This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading company during an exciting period of change. We seek ambitious, strategic procurement professionals eager to advance their careers. To apply or learn more, please contact Shiva or click ‘Apply’ now.
