Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily health checks and review the AVD + Nerdio environment.
  • Monitor ServiceNow queue and respond accordingly.
  • Analyze new service requests and coordinate with requesters.
  • Onboard new applications and configure them on the AVD + Nerdio platform.
  • Rewrap application packages using PSADT toolkit and configure with blob storage.
  • Coordinate with application vendors/owners.
  • Coordinate with security, network, and firewall teams.
  • Work with UAT and pre-production testers to validate changes, performance, and functionality.
  • Update Nerdio scripted actions and groups to customize and optimize application and desktop delivery.
  • Adjust autoscaling criteria to scale AVD session hosts up or down as needed.
  • Provide remote support to end-users.
  • Handle reported incidents, problem tickets, and service requests.
  • Provide on-call support.
  • Build monthly reports in collaboration with the customer.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in VDI infrastructure planning, design, and implementation with various technologies.
  • Define, document, and conduct POCs for VDI services.
  • Responsible for high- and low-level design documentation for VDI infrastructure.
  • Experience with large-scale application deployments and customizations in VDI environments.
  • Troubleshoot major issues during UAT/PILOT phases.
  • Customize VDI solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Design and deploy Azure AVD workspace infrastructure in multiple regions with FSLogix profile management and Nerdio automation.
  • Design and deploy Citrix suites like XenApp/XenDesktop, NetScaler, PVS, Storefront, and AppSense.
  • Implement NetScaler (ADC) VPX, SDX, and MPX.
  • Experience with Wyse Device Manager integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting (VBScript / PowerShell).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
