Account Manager Sleep & Respiratory Care – Central Spain

Job Description

In the role of Account Manager, you are responsible for establishing new customers and partnerships, as well as for the long-term care and development of the assigned customers in the designated area. Your main focus is to develop Sleep & Respiratory Care (S&RC) activities in Central Spain (Madrid, Extremadura, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla León).

Your role:

  • Developing, maintaining, and improving relations with existing and potential customers in the assigned district/area.
  • Developing clinical activities to promote Sleep and Respiratory products with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region.
  • Presenting and explaining the local product portfolio and supporting the national promotion & marketing strategy.
  • Creating the yearly sales plan, with the help of sales management, to set targets, plan actions, and MarCom deliverables.
  • Collaborating with the internal order desk to create optimal offers for accounts. Initiating customer-tailored sales actions and supporting national sales initiatives.
  • Monitoring the quality of actions' execution, improving contact between internal services and customers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Reporting regularly on sales results, market trends, competition, and expectations to keep informed about the situation.
  • Managing S&RC activities in the assigned territory.

You are a part of:
As an Account Manager, you are part of the Iberia Sleep & Respiratory Care team within the South Europe Philips commercial team. You will report to the Sales Leader for Sleep & Respiratory Care Iberia.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • A clinical background with experience in account management, sales, or project management.
  • At least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in home respiratory or a respiratory-related field (targeting pulmonologists, pediatricians, ICU, or emergency rooms).
  • Negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills to develop accounts.
  • Experience working with large matrix teams, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge of local market environments, reimbursement models, public tenders, and local challenges and regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.
