We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior / Medior Data Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of our organization's data assets, with a focus on AI / Gen AI aspects including compliance with the EU AI Act, DORA principles, and VAIT.

Key responsibilities :

  • Support the maintenance of data governance frameworks, including data management, data quality, and data maturity.
  • Assist in collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish Data & AI governance best practices.
  • Help in preparing regular reports on data assessment KPIs for the data steering board and senior management.
  • Promote a data-driven culture and data product mindset within the company.
  • Participate in training and mentoring sessions on data governance requirements and standards.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and technologies.
  • Assist in communicating product vision, goals, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Gather customer and stakeholder feedback to help improve deliverables.

What we expect from you :

  • University degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science or Data Science.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in data and process management, with exposure to data governance, data architecture, data product management, data security or other similar roles.
  • Basic understanding of the EU AI Act, DORA principles, and VAIT guidelines is a plus.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • You are a team player.
  • You embrace change and have a problem-solving mindset. You are always looking for simple yet creative solutions.
