What we look for?

We are looking for a Software Engineer Manager who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, that is a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking and saving accounts.

High english level is required.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership : Responsible for creating clarity in all technical aspects of engineering, providing guidance & direction to their team in matters of design, architecture, implementation, validation and monitoring

Execution Leadership : Plan and prioritize the backlog, allocation of assignments to team members, tracking the execution of the project, and mitigating any risks that they are observing to the plan

People Leadership : Follow the right culture attributes (growth mindset) & values (integrity, accountability, respect) for their team members to follow

As part of the DevOps model “you build it, you own it and you run it”, ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of delivered software

Supervise all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

Work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management

Innovate within your team, initiative area and contribute within your technical domain

Mandatory requirements :

Relevant experience as Software Engineer Manager or Technical Lead

Relevant experience working with international customers

Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle

Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID principles)

Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building API’s

Experience with different testing types : Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing

Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA

Experience with event-driven architectures

Experience with REST APIs

Relevant experience with AWS services

Experience with Gradle or Maven

Experience with Enterprise Jenkins

Experience working in an Agile fashion (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) Desired Skills

Experience working in a highly regulated environment, like banking

Experience with Docker

AWS certification

Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate)

Experience with TDD and BDD

English at least C1
