Research Statistician

We have recently partnered with an award-winning CRO, seeking an experienced Principal Statistician (or Senior looking to move into Principal) to join their successful study delivery team. Any area of specialization considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Planning, monitoring, organizing, and reviewing activities of biostatisticians and programmers on assigned studies.
2. Ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery of studies and analyses to quality standards.
3. Providing strategic oversight and resource allocation for team performance.
4. Reviewing project database structures, edit checks, and data management coding conventions.
5. Preparing statistical analysis plans (SAP), defining derived data, and designing statistical tables, figures, and data listings.
6. Conducting statistical analysis, interpreting data, and reporting results.
7. Writing and reviewing statistical methods sections of study reports.
8. Preparing biostatistics input for research proposals, defending proposals, and presenting to prospective clients.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in biostatistics, especially in clinical trials and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and SAS software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
