Offer Description

Professor Marta Reynal-Querol is searching for a research assistant under her project EC-Heu-ERC-AdG_101055142-ORIG_STATE, EU-Horizon Europe and the European Research Council entitled "Colonization, Early Institutions and the Origin of State Capacity and Democratization".

Support tasks in the processing of information and statistical data as well as the performance of statistical analysis (econometrics) and machine learning.

1. Maintaining and improving already existing data pipelines and creating new ones in the field of facial image analytics. Tasks include data cleaning and data transforming, data visualization, training and testing machine learning models and preparing results to be used for further analysis.

2. Creating a complex data processing pipeline for textual data. Tasks include data cleaning, named entity recognition, preparing an entity graph and performing further analysis from the compiled data structure.

3. Creating data analysis pipelines for econometric analysis on disaggregated bank account data. Tasks include data cleaning, data transformation, descriptive and multivariate econometric analysis.
