Specialist Administrator (m/f/d) in the Application Support Team

The Berlin School of Economics and Law, with around 12,000 students, is one of Berlin's largest state universities. It is known for its practical focus, diverse research, high standards, and international orientation. The university offers programs in economics, business law, administrative law, security management, and engineering, all accredited by the Accreditation Council.

The Application Support team within the IT department manages application systems for Campus Management and HRM, supporting users and implementing new systems such as the d.velop document management system.

We are seeking to strengthen our team with a permanent position:

Position: Specialist Administrator (m/f/d)

Full-time (100% of regular weekly hours)

Code number: 020N_2025

  1. Ensure the smooth operation and administration of our systems in collaboration with your team.
  2. Manage change processes and document them in German.
  3. Support specific processes within the central document management system (DMS).
  4. Assist users in departmental system usage.

Details of the systems and focus areas will be tailored to your skills and interests after hiring.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, or similar.
  • Experience in administering complex IT systems.
  • Knowledge of server operating systems, PostgreSQL databases, and optionally d.velop DMS.
  • Independent, structured, goal-oriented, reliable, and analytical working style.
  • Flexible, resilient under pressure, service-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
