Backend Engineer - Spain

We are looking for

A driven and enthusiastic Backend Engineer (m / w / d) who wants to contribute to the growth and success of our tech team.

Your role in BizAway

You will work in a cross-functional team to implement new features, evolve the current platform, and collaborate with colleagues to turn ideas into solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Experience with OpenAPI standard (Swagger).
• Proficiency with one Node.js framework : Fastify, Express, or Nest.js.
• Experience in writing automated tests.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional interests

• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design.
