Front-end Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to join our multidisciplinary product team and work on pioneering projects for data management, visualization, and analytics. An engineer passionate about product development and eager to impact hundreds of thousands of analysts and data scientists worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team responsible for Workflows, Analytics Toolbox, and Data Observatory (6 engineers).
• Focus on UI/UX development for Workflows, our visual analytics application, using TypeScript, React, and eventually SQL.
• Lead and manage technical initiatives, including task planning, architecture design, research, and definition.
• Collaborate with other teams and product areas as needed.
• Apply best development practices: clean code, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Work with world-class engineers and expand your knowledge in the geospatial industry.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in web development, with a mature approach to tools and processes (git/GitHub, documentation, testing, profiling, Webpack/Vite, etc.).
• Deep understanding of front-end technologies including React, Redux, React Hooks, and styled-components.
• Fluency in TypeScript.
• Ability to quickly learn new tech stacks.
• Strong analytical skills for complex technical issues and effective solutions.
• Experience leading and delivering projects end-to-end.
• Autonomy, curiosity, positive energy, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the geospatial industry.
• Proficiency in SQL analytics.
