We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join our Madrid office.

As an IPS employee, you will actively participate in a wide range of projects within an industrial environment. The management of each project may include multiple phases and specializations :

  • Strategic Consulting : project master planning, conceptual engineering.
  • Project Feasibility : process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial planning.
  • Project Preparation : investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, procurement.
  • Project Realization : project management, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational management.

Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Junior Project Engineer , your responsibilities will include :

  • Managing supply chain projects, supporting business development, and digitalization initiatives, linked to food industry, life sciences, chemical, primary, or building projects.
  • Conducting simulation projects for operational and logistics purposes.
  • Studying, analyzing, and optimizing client supply chains.
  • Designing, procuring, and supervising warehousing implementations with relevant technologies.
  • Performing digital audits to analyze operational issues and develop strategies to address them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree in supply chain management is a plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics CAPEX projects.
  • Knowledge or experience in simulation modeling (FlexSim or Anylogic) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; French is a plus.
  • Willingness to be mobile according to project needs (20% to 60%).
  • Permanent contract.
