Engineering Area Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Engineering Manager to support our sites in Spain, France, Italy, and Belgium.

As a Regional Engineering Manager, you will oversee the Facility Engineering and Maintenance functions within your assigned region.

You will be responsible for providing direction and operational support for all refrigeration, facility, and material handling equipment maintenance activities.

You will advise and initiate actions in the region on the Lineage Europe Maintenance and Engineering strategy, in consultation with the Director of Engineering Europe.

Assess the technical activities of Lineage in the region, both in-house and outsourced.

Manage value-added services such as mechanized sortation, packing, and picking.

Region responsibility (ability to manage remotely)

Develop and execute strategies and annual plans, including budget, operational performance, and SOPs.

Knowledge of contract management and SLAs

Measure metrics such as energy efficiency, quality, employee productivity, and safety.

Lead employee training and development, focusing on technical and functional skills.

Implement continuous improvement processes for refrigeration, facility maintenance, and warehouse automation systems.

Ensure safety and efficiency program compliance.
