Business Development Associate

As our Business Development Associate , you'll work with three main groups :

• Gaming hardware companies that make computers, headsets, and other devices.
• Video game publishers who create and release games.
• Popular brands that want to connect with gamers.

Your primary focus will be research, outreach, and coordination. You'll actively support negotiations and learn from our Business Development Director. This is an ideal first step for someone who is passionate about gaming and eager to learn the craft of partnership building in a market-leading tech company.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain a qualified list of potential partnerships pipeline (gaming hardware companies, game publishers, and brands).
• Research Opportunities : Look for potential partners and collaboration chances in the gaming industry that could benefit from our voice technology.
• Draft personalised introductory emails and LinkedIn messages that spark interest in Voicemod’s technology.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, stage‑specific records in our database —including contact details, activity logs and opportunity stages—so the team always has real‑time, actionable visibility of the pipeline.
• Monitor gaming, software & hardware trends, flagging timely opportunities to the BD team.
• Represent Voicemod at occasional trade shows or community events to gather leads and market insights.

What You’ll Learn

• Prepare first‑draft pitch decks, compelling presentations and one‑pagers using existing templates; iterate based on feedback.
• Coordinate discovery calls between prospects and the Business Development Director; own calendar invites, agendas and follow‑up notes.
• Support negotiation preparation (e.g., compiling talking points and term sheets) and shadow live deal discussions to accelerate your learning.

What you'll need

• Gaming Knowledge : Genuine enthusiasm for video games / streaming and familiar with the PC gaming industry.
• Experience : 0‑2 years of professional experience (internships, campus ambassador roles or volunteer projects in gaming / esports welcome).
• Technical savvy : You like technology and are familiar with PC gaming software and hardware.
• People Skills : You're a people person; you enjoy connecting with people, even in remote settings.
• Communication - English C1 : Excellent presentation skills and the ability to speak to and maintain good relationships with people from different backgrounds.
• Growth and entrepreneur mindset : Ambition in building a career in the gaming industry.
• Strong organisational habits : you like checklists, Kanban boards and spotless spreadsheets.
• Self-Motivated : proactive mindset and eagerness to learn from feedback.
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with an international team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Tech Skills : You're comfortable with Microsoft Office and online communication tools.
• Travel : Willingness to travel occasionally for important industry events.

Bonus Points

• Academic background in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Passion for audio, music, recording or sound.
• Knowledge of basic partnership or sponsorship concepts.
• Light knowledge of game development process and technology.
