Nursery Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Based in our baby room working with children aged from 0-2 years.

Providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment for young children in the nursery.

Supporting children during meal times, sleep times, and personal care.

Working as a Key Worker and carrying out regular observations of children.

Planning age-appropriate activities using the EYFS curriculum.

Promoting diversity and equal opportunities.

Developing and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and other childcare professionals.

Attending monthly staff meetings and participating in further training as required.

Observing and monitoring children’s behaviour and development.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the nursery area.

Communicating with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

Experience

Childcare experience: 1 year (essential)

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or day-care setting.

Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.

Qualifications
