UPM Raflatac Iberica is looking for a Sales Manager Spain & Portugal to join our team in Polinya.

What you will do

  • Manage a medium-sized or large sales budget to meet designated sales and customer targets.
  • Develop and implement sales plans, activities, and campaigns for an assigned geography, market segment, or customers (may lead a team of Sales Specialists).
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and targets.
  • Monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources.
  • Negotiate sales with existing and potential customers and regularly liaise with customers.
  • Manage and develop relationships with agencies to ensure fulfillment of agreed standards of service.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for the area of responsibility through market intelligence and customer information.

Who you are

  • You have a university degree and a minimum of 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • You have broad knowledge of the industrial market (B2B), products and services, sustainability, and sales processes (experience in the packaging industry is a plus).
  • You know and understand UPM Raflatac tools and sales methodologies.
  • You possess proficiency in commercial, communication, interpersonal, prioritizing, networking, and self-leadership skills.
  • You have knowledge of change management.
  • You speak both English and Spanish.
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and experience in using SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce.
  • You have wide availability for travel.
