Prime Video is a premium streaming service offering a vast collection of TV shows and movies, including Originals, Exclusive content, live sports events, and more. Customers can subscribe to add-on channels, rent or buy movies and TV box sets. Prime Video is available in over 240 countries and territories, operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on customer innovation.

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks related to publishing, assessing, and enhancing the quality of content in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, utilizing expert knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese. The role involves making high judgment decisions following standard operating procedures.

Please note that this is a Madrid office-based role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese to execute projects aimed at process improvement, using tools and reports to meet quality metrics.
  • Manage escalations on routine tasks.
  • Create or correct media assets such as subtitles, metadata, or artwork with high quality.

About the team: The Prime Video Global Operations team, with sites in Chennai, India, and San Jose, Costa Rica, collaborates with stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee content delivery, system processing, and publishing. The team ensures content is complete, correct, and defect-free to provide a high engagement experience for customers worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese (C1 level), including regional jargon and colloquialisms.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Background in foreign languages, translation, linguistics, or related experience in localization or subtitling.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to analyze creative content.
  • Understanding of digital media and video supply chains.
  • Experience in post-production or content publishing industries.
