Reporting to the Front Office Manager or the responsible person substituting during their absence (Assistant Front Office Manager, Supervisor, Guest Service Manager, or Duty Manager), the employee is responsible for consistently providing a professional, warm, and friendly service.
- Provide quality service to guests, responding promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts, ensuring all charges are accurate and recorded timely.
- Follow strict security procedures for credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issuing room keys, and maintaining guest confidentiality / privacy.
- Maintain communication channels between guests and all hotel departments, both verbally and in writing, as necessary.
- Accurately document all internal messages and guest messages, distributing them according to hotel procedures.
- Seize opportunities to promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through product knowledge and sales skills.
- Work closely with housekeeping regarding room information and lost items.
- Cover all concierge functions when no concierge is on duty.
- Actively promote hotel promotions and facilities, being a proactive 'salesperson'.
- Certificate in Hotel Management.
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a 5-star or luxury establishment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
- Knowledge of OPERA software.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Listening skills and empathy.
- Availability for rotating shifts.
