JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a Store Manager (40hr) in our Emporio Armani Store in Paseo de Gracia.
The figure of the Store Manager reflects the philosophy of the brand, an apparent effortless ease that conceals impeccable professionalism, attention to details, and technical know-how. As "master of the house", the SM is responsible for perfect overall store leadership and operations and is a true Brand Ambassador. He / she leads by example love of selling and being on the sales floor interacting with customers.
The Store Manager is a dynamic leader by nature, motivating store team through his / her energy and passion. In addition to inspiring team members, the Store Manager creates management routines and standards aimed at achieving and upholding excellence in service to customers. She / he is in charge of the store image, creating a family feeling in an exclusive environment that shuns overstatement.
This position of great responsibility also encompasses administrative activities and store budget management (sales plans, profitability, customer portfolio, etc.).
Objectives and Responsibilities of this Role
Push sales and profitability
Ensure excellence in the sales ritual as per company policy, supervising customer service (presales, in-sales, aftersales) and relationship building. Professionally manage customer complaints
Highly aware of everything concerning the store business (current sales, foot traffic, VIP profile, whereabouts of team, perfection of VM, pricing etc) and swiftly directs to make corrections
Receive periodical store targets and set reasonable individual sales objectives for the staff in order to achieve the goal
Report market trends, competitor insights and customer comments to the relevant central offices
Ensure impeccable aesthetics in the store
Ensure impeccable internal visual and windows display following VM guidelines
Report sales results, low stock on best sellers, missing product needs and customer comments to the Buying offices
Together with offices in charge suggest and adopt sales strategies, CRM and marketing plans aimed at increasing revenues. Ensure smooth events and provide feedbacks on results to relevant offices
Scout and recruit store staff and manage their integration into the team
Oversee staff induction programs ensuring new hires are quickly and efficiently integrated
Monitor staff training programs to enhance product skills, customer service, CRM, VM, sales technique, stock management. Ensure all tasks are performed in an efficient and effective manner
Manage daily morning briefs enhancing staff animation, motivation and commitment
Monitor the performance of each sales assistant and assess their contribution to store revenues. Carry out staff performance evaluation and suggests personal development programs
Observe and apply Company policies and procedures ensuring that all directives are observed in the store (including health and safety regulations, loss prevention, HR policy, cash management)
Manage staffing roster, annual leave always ensuring proper coverage of the selling floor and smooth store operations
Monitor and optimize store costs (general supplies, F&B, shipping, gifting etc)
Maintain organization of administrative responsibilities (sales reports, petty cash, shipping records, vendor records, HR records etc.) and supervise cash procedures and regulations
Take an active role in inventory.

Proven experience in retail and management roles
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Comfortable leading team-building initiatives
Knowledge of inventory management
Competency in Microsoft Office
High level of English / Italian
