We now offer an exciting opportunity for a result-oriented talent to join our H&B Dairy Biosciences team as Technical Sales Manager (Dairy Cultures & Enzymes) for Iberia! This role aims at growing Cultures & Dairy Enzymes business at dairy customers in Iberia (Spain & Portugal) with primary focus on the Fresh dairy industry. This role will report into SWE Cultures & Dairy Enzymes Sub-region Sales Leader, who covers Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal.

In this role, you will be fully supported by the Cultures and Dairy Enzymes business group which includes Communications, Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, Operations and Finance to achieve our common goals. Estimated travel is ca. 30%. The role can be hybrid or remote in Spain, but preferably based in Madrid or Barcelona.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Support and promote our Cultures & Dairy Enzymes solutions & innovations primarily to our Fresh dairy customers.
  • Being First Choice - develop strong relationships with targeted existing and potential dairy customers to promote IFF H&B Dairy Biosciences as the preferred supplier.
  • Support our Distributor in its commercial & technical relationship where appropriate.
  • Develop a robust new business opportunities pipeline & Manage these opportunities within our SalesForce.Com system.
  • Ensure prices & conditions negotiations.
  • Identify and evaluate new market trends/opportunities and develop these opportunities in new business to grow the company’s market share within the dairy industry.
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts, monitor and adapt sales activities that these objectives are met in accordance with IFF’s category strategy
  • Actively promote the company profile at conferences, tradeshows, and industry seminars
  • Establish & maintain contacts to internal departments like Application and Product Management on relevant projects, pricing, market developments etc.

Job Requirements

  • You are a professional with a dairy technology background having a solid practical understanding of fresh fermented milk product technology.
  • Specific experience or competences within dairy cultures and enzymes will be considered a strong advantage
  • You like to work independently, being self-motivated but also understand how to function in a larger organization and the importance of reaching common business goals – a high degree of team spirit is a prerequisite
  • You prove project management skills where full ownership of driving new business opportunities is demonstrated by coordinating all team members to achieve business objectives
  • You are customer centric and open-minded
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English language and have a valid driving license.
