Role & Team

InfoVista Corporation is seeking a sales-driven individual with outstanding communication skills, excellent technical expertise, ability to build relationships with customers, and experience in earning customers' trust in complex sales cycles. This position will challenge the successful candidate to excel in various areas and offer significant opportunities for reward and growth.

The Account Director for Service Providers will be responsible for developing sales in the region for the Global Network Product Line, enhancing current client relationships, and developing new business with prospective clients. The candidate should have a 'hunting' persona for new logos and expansions in existing client bases. Building on their background in service assurance, network testing/optimizations, and other telecom technologies, they will establish credibility with customers, partners, and prospects.

The candidate will navigate within customers' organizations to reach key technical buyers and decision-makers, becoming their trusted advisor and expanding Infovista’s account footprint by driving innovation, automation, and value. They will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful deployments and will leverage their sales experience to secure business in competitive situations, focusing on sales goals. Profile

Sales skills

  • Strong drive for results and targets.
  • Experience in selling Service Assurance, Network Testing solutions, or other OSS solutions.
  • Ability to develop key strategies focusing on territory and key accounts.
  • Industry experience and key relationships, including with C-Level and senior management.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate concepts to all levels within customer organizations.
  • Understanding how technical sales influence business cases; ability to coordinate internal resources.
  • Team selling experience; proactive internal communication—leverage presales, product management, R&D, and professional services.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Service Assurance, network testing, and OSS solutions.
  • Knowledge of the CSP market in OSS, network engineering, optimization, and operations.
  • Strategic thinking, process setup, and building strategic plans for complex deals.
  • Strong analysis, business acumen, and vision.
  • Ability to inspire and demonstrate charisma.
  • Assertiveness to defend company standards and interests.
  • Prioritization and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization skills, with proven ability to drive projects to completion and multitask.

Experience: 7+ years building and managing customer or vendor relationships, including with senior executives.

  • Proven hunter with a track record in selling OSS solutions.
  • Strong software sales acumen.
  • Ability to close deals and meet quotas.
  • Existing relationships with senior CSP leaders (e.g., Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange).
  • Travel required up to 50%.
