Aligned with Allianz Group's commitment to sustainability, a dedicated unit – Group Sustainable Operations – has been established to reduce environmental impact and promote positive change. The Sustainability Manager will coordinate activities and partnerships at the group level, focusing on marine environment protection and monitoring their impact on communities and employee engagement as part of Allianz Group’s Global Corporate Citizenship initiative.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement environmental initiatives and programs for Allianz Group Sustainable Operations.
• Coordinate efforts to integrate Corporate Citizenship guidelines into Ocean-related partnerships and activities.
• Organize global sustainability initiatives to boost employee engagement and oversee partnerships focused on marine environment protection.
• Manage relationships with partner organizations and internal stakeholders.
• Further develop the Ocean Concept and align it with Allianz’s business areas.
• Assess requirements related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and ensure alignment with internal sustainability reporting.
• Prepare documentation for charitable contributions, including contracts and impact reports.
• Drive volunteering opportunities for Allianz SE and stakeholders.
• Research industry trends and best practices, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Develop employee awareness and engagement programs to embed sustainability within the company culture.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for top management.
• Support data collection and reporting for Allianz SE’s Corporate Citizenship initiatives.

What You Bring

• Degree in environmental sciences, ecological engineering, sustainability, social sciences, public relations, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of sustainability within an international context, with specialist knowledge in environmental fields.
• Experience collaborating with NGOs, including volunteering, partnerships, and event management.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven record of managing complex global projects with senior stakeholders.
• Agile certification or experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance or investment sectors is a plus.
