Job Description

For a key client and leader in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to support the construction of a megaproject in Northern Spain. The role requires full on-site presence during the construction phase, expected to start late this year or early next year. Initially, the position is as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with potential for permanent employment after successful collaboration within 2 years.

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design and oversee implementation within assigned areas or units. Key responsibilities include managing EPCs through all project phases, assisting where needed, and reporting progress to the project manager. Specific duties involve:

1. Designing and implementing electrical systems aligned with operational requirements.
2. Resolving electrical issues during construction and overseeing subcontractors during startup and commissioning.
3. Approving electrical designs and RFMA for subcontractors, evaluating vendors, and managing technical communications.
4. Collaborating with maintenance teams to improve processes.
5. Maintaining updated drawings for project handover.
6. Supporting equipment upgrades and proposing improvement measures.
