Director, Medical Strategy Lead - Cardiovascular

IQVIA Cardiovascular Center of Excellence, a hub of cardiovascular clinical innovation, is seeking exceptional Board-Certified physicians to join as Medical Strategy Leads. These roles aim to expand our cardiovascular portfolio and advance this dynamic area of clinical development.

The Medical Strategy Lead is a subject matter expert in clinical research and trials, serving as a champion for cardiovascular initiatives across IQVIA.

The primary responsibility is to drive growth of the cardiovascular portfolio through scientific and clinical expertise. The lead will utilize clinical, scientific, and operational knowledge to leverage IQVIA's data and resources, developing innovative, data-driven, and patient-centered solutions for cardiovascular trials.

Responsibilities include providing senior clinical and scientific expertise, collaborating with indication-specific teams to develop integrated strategies, and engaging in early business development activities by guiding sponsors in cardiovascular development. The role also involves thought leadership activities such as presentations, publications, and interactions with the scientific community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create innovative, evidence-based strategies for cardiovascular trials, addressing customer needs.
2. Partner with various teams to secure new business and include cardiovascular elements in proposals.
3. Provide scientific and operational advice during proposal development, including protocol design, data analysis, and feasibility assessments.
4. Support customer meetings, prepare project teams, and present cardiovascular strategies.
5. Participate in business development activities and maintain awareness of industry trends and landscape.

Requirements:

• Cardiologist with a degree from an accredited, recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical research experience, including operational or drug development roles.
• Strong knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects in cardiovascular.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
• In-depth understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
