Our client is looking for a Global Marketing Product Manager based in Valencia. In this strategic role, you will act as the marketing lead and business driver for a worldwide line of software products, guiding them from concept to market success. You will focus on uncovering customer needs, crafting value propositions, defining go-to-market strategies, and executing high-impact marketing initiatives to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue.
This is not a traditional marketing communications role — we are looking for a business-savvy marketer with strong product acumen who can think like a GM, collaborate across functions, and directly influence product and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market & Customer Research : Conduct in-depth market research and customer interviews to identify unmet needs, pain points, and buying behaviors. Translate these insights into compelling value propositions and marketing strategies.
- Positioning & Messaging : Develop differentiated product positioning, core messaging, and content frameworks that clearly communicate value to target segments and support demand generation, sales enablement, and brand consistency.
- Go-to-Market Strategy : Lead the creation and execution of go-to-market plans, including product launch strategies, campaign themes, vertical segmentation, and marketing content. Collaborate with product management, sales, and channel teams to ensure alignment.
- Sales Enablement : Create sales tools, playbooks, competitive battlecards, pricing strategies, and customer-facing collateral that enable the sales team and channel partners to effectively position and sell the product.
- Product Lifecycle Ownership (Marketing Lens) : Actively support product development cycles with market insights, define requirements from a customer-value perspective, and assist in prioritizing features based on commercial impact.
- Business Performance Tracking : Analyze product performance across key metrics (revenue, margin, market share). Recommend marketing actions and pricing tactics to maximize profitability and adoption.
- Competitive Analysis : Monitor the competitive landscape, benchmark key features and positioning, and contribute to the creation of SWOT analyses and strategic response plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with R&D, Field Sales, Program Management, and Application Engineers to ensure successful product qualification, launch, and continued market fit.
Qualifications (M / F / D) :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of worldwide experience in product marketing or product management in a B2B software or technology environment.
- Proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for software or digital solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience crafting positioning and messaging frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer behavior and translate into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Experience with competitive benchmarking and developing persuasive sales content.
- Ability to influence across functions and operate effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced organization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (10-20%).
- Experience with capital equipment, industrial software, or the printing industry is a plus.
