Position: IT Solutions Analyst (Remote in Spain)

Work location: 100% remote, within Spain.

This role involves business analysis and quality assurance activities aligned with our solution development methodology and supporting IT projects. Responsibilities include supporting end-to-end project execution, creating and maintaining project artifacts, defining and executing user acceptance tests, and liaising with end users, vendors, and programmers to troubleshoot issues, implement new systems, and upgrade existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess client needs through structured requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and change management.
  2. Define requirements and develop or maintain computer applications/systems to meet client needs.
  3. Ensure successful implementation and realization of IT solutions, working with staff, contractors, and vendors.
  4. Analyze performance metrics to ensure user satisfaction.
  5. Develop and communicate business requirements and functional specifications.
  6. Support reporting and analytical functions for maintenance of solutions.
  7. Identify and pursue opportunities for solutions practice and troubleshoot issues from requirements translation.
  8. Analyze customer operations to identify improvement opportunities.
  9. Support testing processes and monitor test plans to minimize risks.
  10. Keep stakeholders informed and manage expectations.
  11. Collaborate with business partners and developers to ensure understanding of processes and requirements.
  12. Engage in project planning, coordination, and requirements elicitation.
  13. Create user stories, mock-ups, and participate in backlog grooming and prioritization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred certifications: CBAP, ITIL, ITSM, CISSP.
  • 4+ years relevant experience, preferably in client software solutions or IT operations management.

Skills & Knowledge:

Technical: Application design, business process modeling, cloud infrastructure, database management, technical documentation, network architecture, scalable architectures, SDLC, systems integration.

Knowledge: BPM systems, ERP systems (Sage, ASW, SAP), Java frameworks, Microsoft Office, RDBMS, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Citrix, IBM, Oracle, SQL).
