The RSM will be responsible for new and existing services sales in the region for the assigned territory. The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Provide subject matter expert support as a sales overlay, assisting direct or indirect sales teams throughout the sales process in close cooperation with local sales.
  2. The RSM will drive deals directly for a set of key accounts that may not necessarily involve hardware components.
  3. Build relationships within targeted accounts at all levels to understand customer requirements and craft a compelling value proposition based on Quectel’s services offerings.
  4. Present Quectel’s services, demonstrating deep familiarity with the company's infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.
  5. Manage customer technical due diligence and risk management processes.
  6. Communicate effectively and present to multiple levels within organizations to demonstrate Quectel’s unique value.
  7. Develop innovative strategies to address customer objections and guide them towards closing deals.
  8. Handle negotiations during later sales stages through customer visits, RFP responses, and coordinating with third-party providers.
  9. Meet and exceed sales targets by developing strong relationships with senior executives in targeted accounts.

Other duties include:

  • Providing regular reports such as weekly activity, monthly sales forecasts, visit reports, and market maps.
  • Using CRM to manage customer contacts and track leads and opportunities.
  • Advising management on market conditions, competitors, and gathering market intelligence.
  • Performing other tasks as needed to meet departmental objectives.

Minimum qualifications:

The ideal candidate has experience in IoT, system integration, or wireless network sales, with a strong focus on new business development. Must be highly motivated and self-driven.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Business fluency in one local language and English.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience managing relationships at C-level within enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Technical proficiency with a background in long sales cycles.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong customer commitment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel 40%-60% within the territory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
