Role & Team

InfoVista Corporation is seeking a sales-driven individual with outstanding communication skills, excellent technical expertise, the ability to build relationships with customers, and experience in earning customers' trust in complex sales cycles. This position will challenge the successful candidate to excel in various areas and offer significant opportunities for reward and growth.

As the Account Director for Service Providers, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales in the region for the Global Network Product Line, enhancing current client relationships, and developing new business with prospective clients. The candidate should have a "hunting" persona for new logos and expansions in existing client bases. Building on their background in service assurance, network testing/optimizations, and other telecom technologies, they will establish credibility with existing customers, partners, and prospects.

The candidate will navigate within customers' organizations to reach key technical buyers and decision-makers, becoming their trusted advisor and expanding within Infovista’s accounts to grow the current footprint. They will drive innovation, automation, and value, working closely with customers and partners, influencing them, and interfacing with Infovista’s Product Development and Professional/Technology Services organizations to ensure successful deployments. The role requires using sales experience to secure business in competitive situations, with Infovista providing a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Profile

Sales skills:

  • Strong drive for results and targets.
  • Experience in selling Service Assurance, Network Testing solutions, or other OSS solutions.
  • Ability to develop key strategies focusing on territory and key accounts.
  • Industry experience and key relationships with C-Level and senior management.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate concepts effectively across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Understanding how technical sales influence business cases and coordinating internal resources.
  • Team selling, proactive communication, leveraging presales, product management, R&D, and professional services.

Technical knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge in Service Assurance, network testing, and OSS solutions.
  • Understanding of the CSP market in OSS, network engineering, optimization, and operations.
  • Strategic thinking, process setup, and complex deal management skills.
  • Strong analysis, business acumen, and vision.
  • Ability to inspire and demonstrate charisma.
  • Assertiveness in defending Infovista standards and interests.
  • Prioritization and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management abilities.

Experience required: 7+ years building and managing relationships with customers or vendors, including senior executives.

  • Hunter mentality.
  • Proven track record in selling Service Assurance, Network Testing, and OSS solutions.
  • Strong software sales acumen.
  • Ability to close deals and meet quotas.
  • Current relationships with senior leaders at CSPs like Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange, etc.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
