This position has a grade and reports to the Project Operations Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of medium-sized projects, ensuring activities are carried out according to procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will lead project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted outputs, and meet project goals. The work model for this role is #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the ABB Robotics AMR in Spain. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring, and control activities for resources to accomplish project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, and financials.
• Identifying, managing, and pursuing project risks and opportunities.
• Driving formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment, in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the Role

• Strong skills in project management, cost control, planning, and risk management.
• Familiarity with the industrial markets such as automotive, food & beverage, logistics, etc., with a customer-focused approach and stakeholder management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management.
• Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel) and planning tools like MS Project.
• Passion for team management, adaptability, anticipation, and problem-solving.
• Degree in Engineering, mainly Industrial Engineering.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages like French or German are a plus.
• Valid driver's license in Spain and Spanish work permit.
