Key Account Manager – End User (Retail & Office)
Barcelona, Spain

Spotlight of the Job
We are recruiting for a Key Account Manager in the Barcelona area to initially maintain this existing End User profile with a view to also grow the sector at every opportunity. The role would see you partnering with current end user clients and associated contractor/consultant partners to grow this already proven very strong, key territory which is essential for our ongoing future success, for the Spanish business.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify new business opportunities that can be actioned.
  2. Develop and implement an action plan for your customer group which integrates with the regional sales plans.
  3. Approach and develop both new and existing relationships within the end-user customer segment.
  4. Understand sector drivers and opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve sustainable growth.
  5. Educate yourself as well as customers on the Zumtobel Group’s products and solutions for the sector.
  6. Be involved in an early stage and influence future construction projects at end-users and specifiers within the segment.
  7. Provide consistent excellent and professional customer service to all clients.
  8. Close cooperation with all internal support staff across all departments including lighting design colleagues, recognising sales as teamwork.

Skills & Experience
You should have a solid understanding of the lighting industry with relevant experience of working with similar end user clients. A proven track record of profitable long-term business partnerships and a strong commercial mind-set. Well networked with existing contacts with ability to expand network to ensure ongoing success for all concerned. A great communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills. A natural relationship builder who works closely with colleagues to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do. You encounter challenges with a positive 'Can do' attitude and have a genuine interest in technology and associated lighting solutions.
