YOUR TASKS

Become a part of our EMEA Engineering & Maintenance Department at our location in Badalona – we manage all projects and tasks assigned by the organization, from the design phase until commissioning and start-up, following the company’s standards and procedures, always fulfilling any legal requirement, and optimizing the use of available resources. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager with the following responsibilities:

• Design technical solutions for the studies/projects assigned (P&IDs, Lay-outs), in coordination with the Engineering Manager, regional Operations, and EH&S departments.
• Validate technical feasibility of proposed solutions and estimate its economic cost.
• Request quotations to vendors and contractors. Compare proposals on a technical and economical level, opting to choose those which are optimal and most interesting for the organization.
• Justify and request investments.
• Process purchase orders for the approved projects.
• Supervise and coordinate external contractors involved in approved projects.
• Prepare, coordinate, witness, supervise, and document the commissioning and start-up of approved projects.
• Control the budget assigned for each project, as well as the invoicing approval. Make sure that established timelines and deadlines for all projects are met.
• Provide support for the organization’s in-plant installations and important customer requests.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Profound experience (minimum of 10 years) managing projects in the chemical industry or similar.
• Experience in a painting/inks/adhesives manufacturing industry would be a plus.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in English, Spanish, and French.
• Availability to travel.
