Junior Forest Project Developer — Selva (Forestry & Social Impact)Contract: Full-time, junior salary band, hybrid (EU or Latin America)Start: July 2025Hiring process: CV screening ? business case ? culture interview with CEO & teamWHY THIS ROLE EXISTSzeroCO2 is expanding its portfolio of high-impact forestry projects.

You will scout new opportunities on the ground, build strong partnerships, and prove their long-term sustainability through basic financial analysis.-WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Project sourcing (LatAm) – Discover, evaluate and prioritise agro-forestry initiatives that can join Selva's portfolio.
• Stakeholder engagement – Build and nurture relationships with public institutions, companies and local communities; pitch our proposals directly to CEOs and top management.
• Financial modelling (Excel) – Use pre-built templates to analyse costs, cash flows and development scenarios.
• Field missions – Run technical assessments, facilitate workshops with farming communities and collect baseline data.-WHO YOU ARE
• Ambiguity ? action: You turn fuzzy problems into clear roadmaps.
• Distributed ownership: You make fast decisions and own the outcome.
• Agility: You pivot priorities week to week.
• Purpose-driven: Genuine motivation for the environment and social justice.
• Radical proactivity: You ship MVPs in days, list hypotheses/risks/metrics and ask for feedback after the first step.
• Intercultural sensitivity: Comfortable working with Latin-American stakeholders.-MUST-HAVESExperience: 2+ years in project development, international cooperation or similarEducation: Degree/professional background in forestry science, forestry engineering, agronomy or related disciplinesLanguages: Native Spanish + fluent English (C1)Tech: Advanced ExcelMobility: Willingness to travel frequently in Latin America (> 4 months per year)Soft skills: Networking, executive-level communication, organisational skills-NICE TO HAVE
• GIS / remote sensing skills
• Portuguese C1
• Familiarity with Asana, ClickUp or similar-WHAT WE OFFER
