Senior Consultant, Restructuring | Corporate Finance & Restructuring

Full-time Senior Consultant role within FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice in Madrid.

Key Focus

Addressing clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs through a comprehensive range of financial and transactional services for corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in Restructuring, Turnaround, or Corporate Finance, preferably with a leading advisory firm, investment bank, or major corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting project structuring, scope, and deliverables.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Forming initial engagement views for discussion with senior management.
  • Delivering high-quality client outputs.
  • Building professional networks inside and outside the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Experience managing junior team members.
  • Experience in report writing and presenting findings.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, especially in M&A, debt, and equity financing.
  • Background in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, restructuring, or related fields.
