multifaceted Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a multifaceted Business Analyst to play a key role in the success of software development projects by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding business needs, managing requirements, and collaborating with developers to deliver technology solutions that create real business value. If you are passionate about transforming complex concepts into clear, structured deliverables, this is the role for you.

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE:

1. Act as the link between business and tech teams: translate business processes into technical language and vice versa.
2. Understand business goals, financial analysis fundamentals, risk evaluation models, and banking regulations.
3. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
4. Gather and prioritize business requirements using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
5. Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
6. Support the development team by participating in Agile ceremonies: planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
7. Provide ongoing feedback and clarification to ensure high-quality delivery.
8. Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of optimization.
9. Differentiate between incidents and new demands, contributing to demand management.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and execute test plans for both isolated and integrated use cases.
• Certify software by performing manual and/or automated tests.
• Record evidence of testing outcomes and propose automation when applicable.
• Ideally have experience (or willingness to learn) tools such as:

TalosBDD / Selenium

• Python (for consistency checks and automation)
• PyCharm IDE

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Clear and structured communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Hands-on knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and similar documentation tools.
• Understanding of business risk valuation methodologies for clients, groups, and portfolios.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Python).
• Exposure to integrated test planning and processes.
