Descripción del empleo

We are EA, and we make games – how cool is that? In fact, we entertain millions of people across the globe with the most amazing and immersive interactive software in the industry. Making games is challenging, which is why we employ the most creative, passionate people in the industry. EA inspires the world to play, and the Worldwide Localization Team makes that happen! We are responsible for delivering high-quality localized versions of our titles to over 30 countries worldwide. Our vibrant, multicultural environment comprises professionals who each play an important role. You will work on a wide variety of groundbreaking tools and systems to provide localization for our products. EA has built a cutting-edge localization powerhouse that supports both current and next-generation platforms.

As a Localization Tester, your main role will be to check the linguistic quality of localized products and ensure they follow EA procedures and requirements before being certified by EA’s Compliance & Certification group. You may also assist EA's Worldwide Customer Experience team in evaluating their advisors.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Completing assigned tasks thoroughly.
  2. Reporting bugs, flaws, or issues accurately (in English and Arabic) and ensuring they are resolved before release.
  3. Informing Leads and Senior Testers of any issues that may delay or halt testing progress early.
  4. Proactively seeking to improve your knowledge of testing procedures and equipment.
  5. Following EA security procedures by responsibly handling equipment and software.

You will report to the Linguistic Team Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent (written and verbal) in English and Arabic — native speaker preferred.
  • Ability to approach testing in a detailed and structured manner.
  • Interest and knowledge of video games, the industry, and platforms including PC, Mac, Consoles (PlayStation, Xbox), and Mobile.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, player-focused, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Special Considerations:

  • EA offers relocation support for employees joining from outside Madrid.
  • You must be eligible to work in Spain; EA does not sponsor visas for this position.
  • Work is dynamic, with peak periods of activity; workload and team composition may vary.
  • Regular working hours are 40 hours per week; occasional overtime may be required and will be compensated with time off.
  • Attendance in the office at least 30% of the contract duration is required.
